Bread

At The Old Bakehouse we offer a mix of traditional and modern bread.

We make 4 different types of dough: White, malted wheat, wholemeal and country style sourdough: 

White

Our  white bread has a small portion of wholemeal to give it a hearty feel. It's made with yeast as well as naturally fermented wheat, to give the bread real taste. We make split tin and farm house loafs, baguettes and our best seller rolls!

Wholemeal & seeded

This dough is made with wholemeal flour with a small portion of white flour. For the seeded ones we use the same dough adding sunflower seeds, brown linseeds and toasted oats.

Country Sour

Our country style sourdough bread is made with high quality high protein white flour with rye and spelt. Free standing traditional oval shape in two sizes: 1kg and 500 gr.

Malted wheat

This dough is made with a brown flour with specks of malted wheat flakes. 

We make tin loafs, baguettes and rolls.

Sandwiches

These are the most popular at lunch time! Pick from our variety of rolls and fillings from the counter and get a freshly made sandwich to take away.
